AMU project kick-off meeting, 9. – 10. October 2017, Bratislava, Slovakia


The AMU project kick-off meeting started with welcome and opening speech by professor Jaroslav Šušol, dean of Faculty of Arts, Comenius University in Bratislava.

During the kick-off meeting the main aim, target groups, management and intellectual outputs were presented by the project coordinator (AIVD Slovakia). The partners then discussed different issues related to target groups, aim and project management. One of the outputs of the partnership - the structure of the study was also talked over.

The agreement was found also on methodology of data gathering. The scientific review what works in age management will be conducted by analyzing existing literature, on-line survey and consultation with stakeholders. Each partner is requested to follow the same methodology, which was developed by UNIBA and approved by the consortium members. The online survey is aimed at identifying skill needs of the Age Management Advisor (AMA) qualification and the consultation with stakeholders is intended to fine-tune and complement the survey results. Each partner is encouraged to ensure that at least 10 respondents (experts) fill the questionnaire.

Consultation – interview with stakeholders

The consultation will consist of two parts: an introduction and the discussion.

• Introduction to the Age Management Uptake project and the aims of the consultation

• Information about data protection and asking permission of keeping records

• Discuss on the results of the questionnaire, skills part in order to check, verify the results:

• Identify interesting practices regarding age management and intergenerational activities in your country

The next project meeting in Prague was also discussed.
